Catechism, which is offered from Grades 1 to 11 in the Parish Centre on Tuesday afternoons (except Grade 11 - see below), is provided by a group of experienced volunteer catechists. Learners are prepared and coached for the Sacraments of Reconciliation and First Communion in Grades 3 and 4. In Grades 10 and 11 instruction is provided before candidates receive the Sacrament of Confirmation in Grade 11. The Parish thus provides the means to enable parents to meet their obligation and insure that their children are instructed in the Faith. The full timetable is given below.

We run a crèche for children 0-3 years of age during the Sunday 9am mass, in the Gill Room in the parish centre. This allows parents a bit of quiet time during the Sunday Service, and it's also a great way for the children to get to know one another at a young age. We work on a rotational roster system of parents.

This facility is available for children at the 9.00am Sunday Mass for approximately 40 minutes. It is open to all children from three to six years old.
A twelve-month programme is followed, which is aimed at simplifying and teaching an understanding of Old and New Testament readings by way of prayer, Bible stories and a related activity. If you would like to assist, no special qualifications are necessary.
