Catechism is offered from Grades 1 to 7 in the Parish Centre on Tuesday afternoons (see full timetable below).
Classes are provided by a group of experienced volunteer catechists. Learners are prepared for the Sacraments of Reconciliation and First Communion in Grades 3 and 4.
In Grade 11, instruction is provided for candidates to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation.
Learners in Grades 8, 9 and 10 have a wonderful spiritual growth opportunity by joing Lifeteen after the 6pm Mass every Sunday.
The parish thus provides the means for parents to meet their obligation and ensure that their children are instructed in the Faith.

PARENTS’ MEETINGS
The first of these will be on 26 February at 7.30 p.m. in the church hall.
FAMILY/CHILDREN’S MASSES
Sunday 9 a.m. Mass on 10 March, 12 May, 9 June, 4 August, 20 October, 10 November, 1 December
These Masses are wonderful occasions. Children do the readings and prayers, and take up the offertories. The readings and hymns are chosen with the children in mind. Do diarise the dates and come along – this is also a good opportunity to meet other St Michael's families.

CRECHE
We run a crèche for children 0-3 years of age during the Sunday 9am mass, in the Gill Room in the parish centre. This allows parents a bit of quiet time during the Sunday Service, and it's also a great way for the children to get to know one another at a young age. We work on a rotational roster system of parents.

SUNDAY SCHOOL
This facility is available for children at the 9.00am Sunday Mass for approximately 40 minutes. It is open to all children from three to six years old.
A twelve-month programme is followed, aimed at simplifying and teaching an understanding of Old and New Testament readings by way of prayer, Bible stories and a related activity. If you would like to assist, no special qualifications are necessary.
