CHURCH SCAM ALERT: Someone claiming to be a new parishioner is phoning people whose phone numbers are listed on the parish website. He sometimes says he's phoning from Johannesburg, and needs money to get back to Cape Town. He gives similar but slightly different stories and claims to know the people and to have chatted to them. He has used the name Eric da Silva but also goes by other names. He uses various accents.
